CASE ABSTRACT
The GIS system of Zalaegerszeg’s official portal is founded on a well structured geo-database (DAT - Digital Base Map). It is a client-server solution and Autodesk MapGuide based system, which provides a uniquely fast search and data visualization. The electronic administration system (integrated into the portal’s interface) is running since January 1st, 2008 according to proceeding-types and services declared in the municipal decree. Regarding the portal it is also worth to mention that its editor interface (Portalware Licoms editoring system) allows certain publicable information to be directly uploaded without any web editing knowledge. details>>>>>>>
